Become a Member
How to proceed
Becoming a Member of Koumbit is fairly simple. All you have to do is:
- read and agree with our Founding Principles;
- Pay your $10 anuual membership fee ($30 for organizations) by cheque or mail order payable to "Réseau Koumbit", or proceed with online payment;
- fill in your User Preferences form in our Wiki and build your own Wiki page (with an URL such as http://wiki.koumbit.net/FisrtnameLastname);
- describe in your page why you are interested in joining Koumbit.
Please note that at this stage, your candidacy has yet to be approved by the Board of directors.
Benefits
Being a member of Koumbit allows you to:
- vote at the member Annual General Assembly;
- work for Koumbit, either as a freelancer or an employee;
- publish your own Wiki page;
- participate in the committees that match your fields of interest.
